I was playing my dad’s old telephoto lens last night and attempted to grab a couple of shots of the moon… without a tripod. Okay, so maybe I was a little ambitious.
…and I might want that 2x teleconverter after all.
A couple days ago during some particularly warm weather I mentioned that it won’t really feel like spring until the trees start to get their leaves.
Well… looks like they’ve started! Now, if the weather could just make up its mind and stick to about one temperature for a while, everything would be awesome. Except for all that school work I still have left to do.
It’s Multicultural Week at York, and there was a parade to celebrate. After the parade the different groups gathered outside Vari Hall.

My bike stands lonely
while I study at Steacie.
Rode home in darkness.
Family visit.
Uneventful trip downtown,
wandering the streets.
The gate was open
and I looked both ways. No trains
were running tonight.
The elevator
lights up the number fourteen.
Not magic like three.
This light shows the way
home from my class in the night
where I dare not sleep.
Family visits
bring the rainiest of days.
