I’m clearly somewhat clueless about some things. For example, I had no idea people got engagement cards. Thanks!
While scounting the area for apartments for rent, this sign kindly advised us that the sidewalk would no longer be continuing our journey with us. Sad.
I’m finally starting to feel like I have some sort of handle on this semester. A good thing too, since assignments are in full swing and tests will be starting soon. I have a feeling this semester might fly by.
Can got her ring repaired and fitted, and is quite happy to have it back on her finger.
The picture isn’t great. I’m going to try for another tomorrow.
For the last night of Canadian Music Week I headed back to the Horseshoe Tavern to see Two Hours Traffic, one of the first bands I saw when we moved to Toronto, even though they’re from PEI. I also saw Rebekah Higgs from Halifax and Young Galaxy from Ottawa.
Day Two of Canadian Music Funtimes.
Checked out this guy and his band Dinosaur Bones at the Horseshoe Tavern, along with a couple of other acts. I managed to get home before midnight and see great music. Awesome.

Day one of Canadian Music Week/Fest!
I headed down to the El Macambo where a handful of french bands (um… bands dans le francais?… maybe?) were performing. These guys, Radio Radio, might look familiar to anyone who saw the ECMA Showcase on CBC. They’re from New Brunswick and performed at the ECMA’s.

…yes I took a photo in a bathroom. There wasn’t anyone else in the bathroom at the time, okay?
