Yesterday was St. Patrick’s Day and people drank and wore green and we couldn’t get into the pub because it was packed with youngsters. This picture is NOT from St. Patrick’s Day, of course, but it’s from Canadian Music Week.

Manoman, it’s starting to warm up.
You also might want to go back to the main page to catch up. I’ve posted a few times a day for the past day or two in order to catch up.

Friends from home on the subway!
Good friends of ours from Corner Brook came to visit us and we had loads of fun, including eating ethiopean food, introducing them to the best place to get cake and beer in the city, and ordering midnight sushi and drink wine. It might sound like all we did was eat and drink, but… huh. Yeah, that sums it up. But it was awesome.

I went to Lee’s Palace again on Friday evening to see Winter Gloves and The Russian Futurists. However, I left early in order to travel a ways and win a CBC Radio 3 scarf. It was awesome.
This was the last night I was out for Canadian Music Week. The festival was loads of fun, but I’m glad it’s over because I’m exhausted.

For night two of Canadian Music Week I went to the Horseshoe Tavern and saw a great band called Amos The Transparent from Ottawa.
I’m behind in my 365 blog posts due to Canadian Music Week being crazy, plus an awesome visit from some friends from home.

Night one of Canadian Music Week brought me to Lee’s Palace to see Jason Collett, Zeus, and Bahamas play. It was the first night of their tour, titled The Bonfire Ball, and the place was packed.
I wrote a short post about the show for BlogTO. You can read it here.

Canadian Music Week is gearing up to take over the city again. I went down to the Royal York hotel to pick up my media pass yesterday which was pretty exciting. Access to everything!
However, I think I’ll only be heading out tonight and Friday, as the rest of the time will be spent with some friends who are coming to visit, starting tomorrow evening!

The weather is getting better and the people are starting to come outside. I actually chose to walk around a building yesterday instead of through it because it was such a nice day.
